Bio
As the Sr. Project Manager, Carlos is responsible for Safeway's project's field staff along with office operations. He manages all project coordination, scheduling accounting, profitability, and construction. Carlos directly contributes to Safeway's success by effectively and efficiently managing the construction projects so that it is completed on time and within budget.
Carlos began his career in the Electrical trade in 2000 as an apprentice. He was previously in the banking industry where he sold annuities. His father in law was an electrician and worked with Carlos in starting his apprenticeship program. Carlos knew he found his calling in the Electrical field when he was awarded to run his first project within his first year out of the program. With Carlos's now 20 years of experience, he has become quite the mentor to our team aspiring to grow their careers as he once did. One of his sons has decided to follow in his father's footsteps and also works in the industry.
In his time away from Safeway, Carlos loves to hang out with his wife and two kids. He is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and considers himself a "Pit Master" with his Traeger smoker. He is famous for his Tri-Tip and thinks he can hold up against his Cowboy's Texas BBQ.
