Bio
As the Director of Sales and Resource Management, Justus drives and leads his team to Y.O.Y. revenue growth, develops sustainable relationships, oversees all material purchased by Safeway to ensure items are efficiently and effectively used all while supporting the Company's internal and external expansion.
Justus came to Safeway from the Electrical distribution Industry where he developed distribution branches for Graybar and CED for 10 years. In his time withing this industry, he was responsible for bringing two branches from negative revenue to positive and tripling the size of a branch in 2 years.
Justus grew up in the construction industry beginning with working on Jobsite cleanup as a summer job. In college, while running a crew for Traverse Mountain Home Development, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree at Brigham Young University in 2007. In 2011, Justus obtained his MBA while working and building industry experience as a Project manager for Fiberco, Inc.
The son of a small-business contractor, Justus believes in hard work, discipline, and ingenuity. Justus also believes in fal=mily and community. He is married to his best friend and has five wonderful children. When he isn't at work, he is spending his time with his family, at his church, and in his community as a coach of multiple sports.
Justus believes in the power of humor and laughter. He attempts, often unsuccessfully, at lightening the mood with jokes and wordplay. He likes a fun work atmosphere where people enjoy their job and have fun doing it. He believes, "if you have fun doing your job, you will do it better and make others better around you."
